I made this Elmo for a friends son... he turned out super cute! If you'd like to make your own Elmo then head over to
A Crochet Ninja Blog . She was so nice to share her pattern for free! I think I might need to make one for my little guy for Christmas since he is going gaga over this one! My daughter likes to squeeze his nose and say "honk,honk"... too cute!
He's wonderful, great work, I love seeing how other people make up the pattern :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I found your blog thru crochet ninja! I hope ypou don't mind me messaging you. I am also trying to make this elmo for my grandson and cant seem to get row 17. the one with the chain 23 skip 23 etc, you know which one. Gosh I was so disappointed, as |I also wanted to make some for the kids at The Childrens hospital, but I havent't gotten a answer back yet from crochet ninja. Yours looks very nice. Can you shed some light. I would be eternally grateful. Anne
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I just now saw your comment... for some reason I do not get a notice when someone leaves a comment. I just looked at the pattern... I cannot remember what I did but I think my count was off from hers and I just made it work. When I made the black part of the mouth I made it much smaller to fit my Elmo. I changed a few things to fit how I crochet. I'm sorry I am not much help! I hope you were able to figure it out!
ReplyDeleteI'm really confused about the mouth on Elmo? Why do you make 2?
ReplyDeleteIs there a video with instructions? Thank you
